Job description
Digital Product DesignerA global design-led consumer brand in the mobile and technology space is looking for a Digital Product Designer to elevate its e-commerce experience across devices. You’ll define how customers interact with the brand online — creating an elegant, high-performance website that converts curiosity into loyalty.
R40000 - R70000 based on experience and competence
Key responsibilities
Own end-to-end UX and UI design for the company’s website across desktop and mobile.
Translate a strong physical-product brand into a clean, responsive, intuitive digital experience.
Lead major improvement projects — from site redesigns to new functionality and accessibility upgrades.
Drive ongoing optimisation through user testing, conversion experiments, and data-driven iteration.
Conduct research and usability studies to inform and validate design decisions.
Partner closely with developers, performance specialists, and commercial teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Balance user needs with business objectives — ensuring every design change delivers measurable impact.
✔️ How success will be measured
Tangible uplift in conversion, engagement, and overall customer experience.
A cohesive redesign that reinforces a premium brand identity across the site.
Clear, repeatable UX processes — including documentation, testing, and accessibility standards.
Within three months: full onboarding into the team, ownership of a live end-to-end project, and a well-structured audit of the existing design system.
Requirements
What you’ll need
3+ years’ experience in product or UX/UI design for web and mobile.
Strong portfolio showing research, wireframes, and final polished UI.
Mastery of Figma and familiarity with tools such as Framer, Webflow, or Adobe XD.
Understanding of responsive design systems, accessibility, and usability principles.
Experience collaborating in agile environments with cross-functional teams.
