We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and diligent sales assistant to join our team in the retail industry. As a sales assistant, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and contributing to the overall success of the business. Responsibilities- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Provide product information and guidance to customers
- Process transactions accurately and efficiently
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the sales floor
- Monitor and replenish stock levels to ensure availability of products
- Assist with visual merchandising and product displays
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet sales targets and achieve the company's objectives
Requirements- Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and cash handling
- Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as required
- A positive and proactive attitude towards learning and growth
- Grade 12/N4 equivalent
- Willing to travel
