Paid Ads Specialist

Remuneration:R290 - R350 per hour cost-to-company

  • Strategic Search campaign implementation and campaign builds (keyword strategy and ad copy). 
  • Search campaign reporting - data ingestion accompanied by insights and recommendations. 
  • Search campaign budget management and tracking, ensuring no over or underspends on campaigns.? 
  • Search campaign optimisations using best practices and knowledge gained. 
  • Working within the existing team structure to effectively complete tasks. 
  • Strategic interactions with clients. 
  • Media planning within the digital marketing space. 
  • Strategic abilities within paid media marketing, analytics, and campaign management, focusing specifically on the paid Google stack and social channels. 
  • Assist with insights and reporting on various campaigns.? 
  • Attend certain key client/ agency meetings virtually to discuss projects. 
Qualities of a Paid Ads specialist 
  • Effective communication via phone call, email, video call etc. 
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented. 
  • High levels of integrity, accountability, autonomy, and self-motivation. 
  • Strong experience with/ knowledge of platform-specific ad copywriting. 
  • A broad understanding of digital marketing and digital marketing strategy. 
  • Competency in Google Tag Manager and GA4 Tag/Script implementation. 
  • Proficient in Google Docs, and Sheets (experience with Excel/ sheets formulae desirable). 
Qualifications and skills
  • Minimum 2 – 5 years experience in Google, Meta, and LinkedIn PPC advertising (TikTok Experience). 
  • Google Ads Beginner Certification (with a desire for intermediate and more advanced certifications). 
  • Experience developing, implementing, launching, and monitoring PPC campaigns. 
  • Experience managing client media-spend budgets, keyword lists, and ad copy. 
  • Experience managing high client budgets e.g., minimum £10,000 per month. 
  • Experience analysing and reporting G4 and PPC in-platform analytics. 
  • Meta Blueprint Certification is favourable. 
Additional qualifications and skills (advantageous) 
  • Minimum 9 months experience of in-console experience in audience-based real-time bidding with the ability to manage bid pricing and optimisation to meet pacing and performance goals. 
  • Strong understanding of ad networks, exchanges/ auction marketplaces, and ability to define programmatic buying. 
  • Experience in MSFT Office with a strong preference for pivot table, lookup functions, and formulae in Excel. 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills. 
  • Quick learning proficiency, specifically for new technologies, platforms, vendors, and inventory offerings. 
  • 2 – 5 Years experience in core DSP, SSP, and other major programmatic advertising platforms.  
  • Ability to monitor daily pacing and performance from all relevant DSPs, 3PAS, and 3PAV. 
  • Programmatic Certification is desirable. 
What does success look like? 
  • Ability to set up various goal conversions on Google and social media platforms via GTM/GA4. 
  • Ability to translate and quantify business goals into paid media objectives. 
  • Tracking, monitoring, optimising, analysing, and reporting on agreed upon KPI’s.
