About our client:
Our client is a small, fully remote marketing agency that helps major international conferences and congresses grow their audiences, driving research submissions and ticket sales. Their purpose is to help share knowledge and make a positive difference in the world, and they're now branching into education, science and infrastructure events too. The team runs without a traditional hierarchy, so everyone is trusted, kept informed and expected to take ownership. They're looking for a Marketing Coordinator to keep campaigns organised, accurate and on track across multiple accounts. If you're quick, accurate and love juggling a lot at once, this is a great fit.

What the job involves:
  • Coordinating day-to-day campaign activity across email, social media, websites and content
  • Working from approved plans, briefs, timelines and client requirements
  • Keeping campaign calendars, deadlines and task status up to date in the project management system
  • Working with creative, content, web and digital teams to keep deliverables moving
  • Spotting missing info, clashing priorities or delays early and raising them with the Marketing Manager
  • Drafting, building, testing and scheduling email campaigns
  • Writing and adapting social copy and simple creative assets in line with brand guidelines
  • Scheduling and checking published social content
  • Making routine website and landing-page updates
  • Quality-checking everything: spelling, formatting, links, forms and tracking
  • Supporting campaign meetings, notes and follow-ups
What you need to be considered:
  • 3+ years' experience in marketing, communications, events, digital marketing or an agency
  • Start-up experience, or a track record in flexible, fast-paced environments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Good copywriting and content skills
  • Excellent organisation and time management
  • Sharp attention to detail (this means no typos in your CV!)
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • A solid understanding of email, social media, websites and digital marketing
  • Confidence working with clients and cross-functional teams
  • The ability to work independently and know when to escalate
  • Comfort working as a full-time permanent contractor and managing your own tax (no medical aid or PAYE)
Bonus points if you:
  • Have used ClickUp, Canva, email marketing platforms, social scheduling tools, CMS platforms or GA4
  • Have experience in events or hospitality, or have freelanced before
  • Have supported paid media campaigns or campaign reporting
  • Enjoy working across time zones with an international team
