What the job involves:- Developing video-led ideas, branded content and campaignable territories alongside senior creatives
- Turning strategic briefs into clear creative direction
- Building mood boards and references that keep the craft sharp
- Working with animators, editors and illustrators from shoot through to final post
- Getting hands-on in shoots and edits, covering framing, styling, grading, typography and motion
- Building decks that sell ideas through visual logic, pacing and storytelling
- Partnering with copywriters on visual narratives and campaign ideas
- Sharpening ideas with senior and creative director feedback before client presentation
- Working with production to balance creative ambition with budget and practical realities
- Communicating clearly, constructively and without ego
What you need to be considered:- A portfolio showing campaign thinking, concept development and video-led ideas, no portfolio, no response
- The ability to articulate a creative rationale and build a deck
- Strong Photoshop and Illustrator skills
- Experience art directing, or supporting art direction, on animation, edit or shoot work
Bonus points if you:- Also know your way around Premiere or After Effects
- Hold a formal visual communication degree or diploma
- Can create and enhance work using generative AI
- Have client-facing experience
- Can convey ideas through basic storyboarding
