Job description

STADIO (Pty) Ltd is inviting applications for the position of: Module Coordinator School of Law
Start date 01 January 2027

Key responsibilities:
  • Designing and setting assessments across different modules
  • Designing classroom material, both synchronous and asynchronous (with specific focus on Property Law and/or Mercantile Law and/or Labour Law and associated responsibilities
  • Moderation on various modules
  • Using the learning management system (LMS)
  • Marking a limited number of assessments (assignments and exams) and providing feedback to lecturers and markers
  • Development of study material and management of relevant modules
  • Research and scholarship
  • Academic administration and other delegated duties
  • Participation in school and campus community and school and campus events
  • Professional development
Qualifications:
  • At least a completed South African LLM degree
Minimum requirements:
  • At least a completed South African LLM degree in Property Law and/or Mercantile Law and/or Labour Law or a related field, LLD degree preferred
  • Expertise in the field of Property Law and/or Mercantile Law and/or Labour Law or a related field, LLD degree preferred
  • Expertise in Higher Education quality assurance
  • A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in higher education
  • Good knowledge of online learning management systems/tools
  • Good knowledge of legal databases such as JutaStat, LexisNexis, Sabinet
  • A proven research track record
Advantageous:
  • Experience in programme development
  • Experience in authoring study material
  • Admission as a legal practitioner
