Raw materials supervision in a busy warehouse environment.
Duties and responsibilities:- Receiving stock and ensuring it matches the invoice/delivery slip
- Issuing stock to various departments accurately avoiding stock discrepancies
- Daily cycle count + recounts
- Managing a team of 4 storeman
- Ensuring stores and stock areas are always kept clean and maintaining correct bin locations of stock.
- Managing storeman and ensuring stock gets issued out in a timely manner + making sure storemen are not idle and allocate work if required
- Investigating stock discrepancies
Skills required:
- Matric
- Valid fork lift license, up to 3.5 ton - test to be given in interview
- Able to work under pressure and on multiple projects at the same time,
- Willing to work overtime if required ( this is not a common occurrence, but candidate must be willing if required)
- Basic admin ( filling issue slips + computer literate -word / excel – company system software)
