This a factory based position - production supervision and maintenance schedule planning - machines and factory maintenance plans within a fast paced flexible packaging manufacturing plant.
Skills required:- Matric
- Previous production supervision and maintenance planning and scheduling experience gained in a production/manufacturing environment - print/packaging/textile manufacturing
- Good working knowledge of production processes and related machine maintenance requirements
- Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical machine issues - brushes, bearings et al
- Able to oversee general building maintenance - welding, minor repairs
- Ideally knowledge of weaving machines - fabric
- Willing to pursue a career in production (manufacturing)
- Good working knowledge of production machinery and processes
- Strong computer skills - MS Office, SAGE/similar
- Able to overtime and occasional Saturdays when required
- Own transport
- Valid license
- Able to start ASAP
