Job description

Requirements :
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Systems, Information Management, Data, Commerce, Business Analysis, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience within financial services, ideally wealth management, financial planning or investment administration, would be a strong advantage.
  • Approximately 5–8 years’ relevant experience across information management, business process improvement, data operations, digital delivery, business analysis, platform implementation, or technology-enabled transformation.
  • Proven experience translating business requirements, processes and user needs into practical workflow, data and technology solutions.
  • Experience with CRM, client lifecycle platforms, workflow solutions, and system integrations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing outsourced technology providers, vendors and specialist delivery partners, with accountability for outcomes.
  • Exposure to POPIA, information governance, cybersecurity, privacy, compliance workflows and operational risk controls is advantageous.
  • Strong business and commercial acumen with the ability to connect technology and information initiatives to client service, operational efficiency, compliance and business outcomes.
Responsibilities :
  • Lead and support the organization's group-wide information, data and technology enablement agenda, ensuring technology enables improved client service, advice delivery, regulatory control and scalable operations.
  • Establish and maintain effective data governance, including data ownership, quality standards, access, retention, lineage and system integration.
  • Drive data quality assessment, remediation and ongoing controls across the organization and its portfolio businesses.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify and optimize business processes, workflows and operational practices, reducing duplication, risk and unnecessary manual effort.
  • Translate business requirements into practical process designs, workflows, controls and platform solutions.
  • Assess existing technology platforms and recommend appropriate enhancement, integration, consolidation or replacement.
  • Improve the quality, consistency and reliability of management information, dashboards, reporting and analytics used for executive, board and operational decision-making.
  • Develop and execute a prioritized roadmap for digital transformation, workflow automation, systems integration, digital client journeys and AI-enabled productivity.
  • Identify practical AI and automation opportunities across client service, advice delivery, compliance, reporting, administration and meeting preparation.
  • Coordinate cybersecurity, privacy, resilience and technology risk activities with specialist service providers and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage outsourced and insourced technology, data, cybersecurity and implementation partners, including SLAs, deliverables, performance, escalations and commercial reviews.
  • Contribute to the organization's information and technology strategy, roadmap, investment priorities and governance framework.
  • Provide clear executive and board-level reporting on information quality, technology delivery, adoption, cybersecurity, privacy risk, platform performance and benefits achieved.
