Job descriptionPurpose of role:The Campaign Optimisation Manager is responsible for planning, executing, and refining high-impact, data-led campaigns that drive customer acquisition, retention, engagement, and repayment. Sitting within the Decision Analytics team, this role serves as the vital link between data insights and business action — ensuring that predictive models and audience insights are translated into real-world campaigns with measurable impact. What You’ll Do (and what success looks like)Translate data into execution - Work with data teams and analysts to turn models into audience segments (e.g. demographics, behaviour, credit profiles, engagement history).
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Marketing to define campaign objectives that tie directly to business value.
Success = Campaign briefs that are data-led, operationally feasible, and commercially meaningful. Coordinate multi-channel campaign delivery - Launch campaigns through SMS, email, app, field, or contact centre — based on channel uplift modelling.
- Manage calendars, track dependencies, and liaise with relevant teams to ensure timely execution.
Success = Campaigns go live on time with clear traceability and strong cross-team alignment. Monitor and adjust in real-time - Track key metrics daily (uptake, conversion, repayment, opt-outs, etc.).
- Adjust segments, timing, or messaging based on campaign performance data.
- Provide clear reporting to management with insights and recommendations.
Success = High responsiveness to underperformance and consistent improvements in ROI. Drive learning and continuous improvement - Run structured experiments (e.g. A/B tests, send-time optimisation).
- Feed insights back to the Decision Analytics team to improve targeting models.
Success = Each campaign increases collective intelligence and sharpens future execution. Ensure compliance and auditability - Ensure all campaigns follow data privacy, consent, and opt-out rules.
- Maintain documentation and version control of campaign configurations and cohorts.
Success = Fully auditable processes with zero compliance breaches. Core Competencies- Customer & Commercial Insight – Understands user needs, behaviour patterns, and value levers.
- Analytical Execution – Turns dashboards, reports, and models into real-time decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration – Works well with analysts, marketers, tech, and sales teams.
- Experimentation Mindset – Designs, runs, and interprets structured experiments.
- Attention to Detail – Maintains compliance and documentation in fast-moving campaign cycles.
- Adaptability – Comfortable operating in ambiguity with changing priorities.
Skills & Knowledge- Strong understanding of segmentation, clustering, and targeting.
- Working knowledge of SAS, SQL, Excel, and campaign management/automation tools.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, SMS/email platforms, and analytics dashboards.
- Experience managing campaign calendars and executing across multiple teams.
- Ability to write clear briefs and interpret results analytically.
Experience & Qualifications- 3–5 years’ experience in marketing operations, CRM, campaign management, or analytics-led execution.
- Prior experience in a data-led or fintech environment is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Science, or related field preferred
