Currently searching for an
Intermediate Software Engineer with
Python and
Java experience with a tech soul. No dusty cubicles. No red tape. Just smart humans solving complex problems with clean code, clever thinking, and good coffee.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
- 5+ years of relevant work experience
- Expertise in Object Oriented Design and Object Databases
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies
- Smalltalk skills advantageous
Responsibilities:- Intermediate Developer Emphasis on building a web-based, object-oriented system for the financial investment industry, including experience with investment products like LISPs, Collective Investments, and Retirement Funds
- Writing clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code with tests
- Develop and support software including application logic and web-based user interfaces
- Focus on meeting business objectives and compliance standards
- Support test and deployment of new products and features
- Pair program where appropriate
