16 days left to enter the 2013 MDDA-Sanlam Local Media Awards

This year, additional broadcast categories have been introduced. These are:

• Best TV Reality Show
  
• Best Community TV Station
  
• Best Drama: Radio and TV
  
• Best Children's Programme: Radio and TV
  
• Best Sports Magazine Show: Radio and TV
  
• Best Educational Magazine Show: Radio and TV
  
• Best Indigenous Music Programme: Radio and TV
  
• Best Business Programme: Radio and TV

No changes have been made to the print section. In total, there are now 35 categories for the broadcast and print sections of the Awards. For more information on the categories, please visit www.mdda.org.za or www.sanlam.co.za.

The MDDA-Sanlam Local Media Awards aim to encourage excellence and to reward meritorious work in community journalism. They bring together more than 20 years of Sanlam Community Newspaper Awards and four years of SABC News/MDDA Community Media Awards into one big event.
