Prefix set for international launch with pMailer V.5

Prefix Technologies has launched the latest version of its industry-leading and award-winning email and SMS messaging platform, pMailer version 5.
"This is already the only South African tool to offer true integration between Email and SMS communication. Version 5 builds on pMailer`s advantage with great new features and vastly improved usability," says Walter Penfold, managing director of Prefix Technologies. "This new version positions pMailer to take on the best in the world when we launch it globally next year."

Tracing its origins back to 2003, pMailer was launched as a general Email marketing delivery platform in 2007, with SMS messaging added in 2010. Version 5 adds great new features such as improved geo-location reporting, which will use a map to show users exactly where their contacts are located, whether nationally or internationally.

"Knowing where your most active subscribers are can be a great sales tool, and will help companies allocate resources more intelligently," Penfold remarks.

Version 5 offers a significantly better user interface with simpler menu navigation, and easier, more intuitive access to functionalities, particularly contact information. Users will now be able to manage lists and list groups simultaneously on the fly. The new version also makes message composition quicker and more intuitive, with an improved process for template selection.

"We have also increased the range of available templates to include 50 free designs, with the option of colour customisation to reflect corporate and brand identities," says Penfold.

Users will now be able to manage their pMailer accounts via the new pMailer dashboard. The purchasing of credits, account upgrades, invoice payments and general account management will all be easier, cutting down on administrative time.

Another key benefit of the new version is free plug-ins that integrate pMailer with client websites using Joomla!, Wordpress, Drupal or Expression Engine software for content management. These plug-ins make it easy to send marketing communications and newsletters to registered site users, thus converting site traffic into contacts.

"Digital channels are an increasingly important part of the marketing mix as companies seek to build relationships with their customers," says Penfold. "Driven by that trend, our customers need a solution that is both easy to use and extremely powerful. We pride ourselves on our close interaction with our clients and have integrated what they are looking for into this new version, as we will continue to do in future versions."
