Today, in partnership with Gendel Strategic Marketing Group and the Mediashop, Habari Media has launched the first ever Facebook Logout Ad in South Africa. The innovative application is for Mango Airlines and is another 'first' for the brand. Logout Ads appear as the user logs out of Facebook and are part of the new premium advertising packages that Habari Media markets for Facebook locally.
A teaser post that was put up by Mango on their Facebook wall calling on their community to log out to see who won spot prizes
Mango's Facebook Page has elicited unprecedented community growth and engagement, as well as content sharing and online conversation. Much of the community growth can be attributed to the success of the Mango R150 000 Bucket List Challenge, which is an interactive brand initiative largely driven through Facebook.
Gendel Strategic Marketing Group, a Johannesburg-based full-service advertising and marketing agency were responsible for conceptualising the Mango R150 000 Bucket List Challenge and daily management of the Facebook Page. Mike Gendel, MD Gendel Strategic Marketing Group, had this to say of Mango's Facebook content strategy; "Facebook community growth is not just about the numbers, although we are grateful to the fans for making Mango Airlines one of the fastest-growing online communities in SA. We see community growth more holistically. We strive to ensure that the community is cohesive and that relationships are growing as the community expands its numbers''.
The Facebook Log Out Ad thanks Mango's fans for their support and interactivity and rewards ten lucky fans with spot prizes.
Established in 2004, Habari Media is a dynamic and award-winning multi-media sales company with a core focus in digital, offering advertisers exclusive access to a wide selection of premium brands throughout the continent.
