AH-Vest parent acquired Winplas Packaging
AH-Vest Limited, known as All Joy Foods, said on Monday its controlling shareholder, Eastern Trading, had acquired Winplas Packaging, a PET bottle and jar manufacturing company with factories located in Johannesburg and Cape Town, for an undisclosed amount.

The purchase of Winplas would add to the larger group's "backward integrated" model of producing its own cans and its own tomato paste, AH-Vest said in a statement.
All Joy Foods is the leading manufacturer of tomato sauce packed in plastic bottles in South Africa.
The business, through its parent company, would now have increased capability to expand its range of long shelf life food and beverage products to deliver on its credo of "Value makes friends and quality keeps them", it said.
