Design Indaba Simulcast - Port Elizabeth
The world renowned Design Indaba, famous for its showcase of innovative and talented out the box thinkers and designers, will be streamed live from Cape Town to Port Elizabeth. It is brought to PE by Boomtown and its partners: Algoa FM, Axxess, Nelson Mandela Bay Development Agency and Times Media.
For 2016 the annual Design Indaba Festival sees a renewed format. Building onto its flagship Conference and Simulcasts, its inaugural FilmFest will also be screened.
Speakers include musician, Imogen Heap whose innovations include the Mi.Mu gloves and a conceptual platform called Mycelia, Turner Prize winner Assemble, a London-based studio that merges art, architecture and design to create artful spaces. Snask, a Swedish creative agency who moonlights as a rock band, and Benjamin Hubert an award-winning British design entrepreneur who focuses on human-centred design.
