Africa Sing Celebrations - Africa Unite

African brothers and sisters from Cameroon, Congo, Kenya, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia Somalia and many more will come together as Khayelitsha gears up to host the Africa Sing Celebrations set to take place on the 9 May 2015.

In the midst of all the xenophobic attacks the festivities seek to deepen a culture of people to people solidarity and build lifelong connections among all Africans. The day will see different cultures from all over Africa coming together to exhibit, celebrate, and experience all the rich culture that Africa has to offer with the aim of creating a better understanding and alleviating all traces of Xenophobia.

The day will commence with a march of unity on the streets of Khayelitsha from LookOutHill to the Buyel'embo Village grounds where all the festivities are set to take place. People will enjoy a range of African cuisine prepared by individuals from a specified countries and different music and dances from different African countries.
