New album and tour from The Frown

"Teenage Swim" is made up of seven tracks, including: 727, Dark Art, Metallic Kiss and the new single Harm, which had its video release in mid-May and single release to radio the week of 10 June.

The Frown is a creative force of music, production and design fronted by the dynamic Eve Rakow. Klein Baas, The Frown's composer/producer, makes up the other half of this multi-talented duo. They took the South African music scene by storm in 2011 with their indie track The National, off their debut release "A-men". They're an act with their fingers on the pulse; dedicated to delivering their audio visual dose of electro, dance-infused pop.

Die Antwoord impressed

Die Antwoord were so impressed with The Frown that they asked them to open for them at shows. Indie trendsetter and hit machine Spoek Mathambo collaborated with them and they have also enjoyed countless remix attention on many of their compositions by a wide range of credible music tastemakers, including Petite Noir.

The Frown will also make their international debut on several compilation releases, a podcast by BBC3 radio's Nick Luscombe and more during the course of this year and strong international interest may also see them tour those countries very soon.
