NEWSWATCH: The press ombudsman has dismissed Durban tycoon Vivian Reddy's complaint against the Mail & Guardian newspaper in its entirety, the newspaper reports, and Icasa is in the spotlight for all the wrong reasons, reports BD Live. On a sad note, SABC television and radio presenter Vuyo Mbuli has died, reports Times Live.

Mail & Guardian: Vivian Reddy's complaint against M&G dismissed... Apparently Reddy was miffed because one of the newspaper's articles suggested that a company in which he has an interest benefited from a tender that seems to have been rigged to benefit that company.
What was that Zuma said the other day... Something about if you support the ANC that would be nice, but if you go beyond that and become a member, (and) "if you're a businessman, your business will multiply".
BD Live: Bungling at Icasa in the spotlight... In recent weeks the regulatory body has done a few things that have drawn criticism. Now there are even more questions as Vodacom refuses to back down and instead is getting ready to fight Icasa's claim that the company owes the regulator R77.8m for alleged licensing fee arrears.
Times Live: TV and radio presenter Vuyo Mbuli dies... Sad news indeed. SABC television and radio presenter Vuyo Mbuli (just 46) collapsed and died while watching a rugby match between the Cheetahs and the Reds at the Free State Stadium on Saturday night, it is reported.
