Neelix to perform at ESP, Joburg partyNeelix, the progressive psy-trance DJ/producer is to return to SA to perform at ESP, 84 Oxford Rd, Ferndale (Randburg), Joburg on Wednesday, 20 March, 2013, at Slippery n Wet. ![]() UK House DJ, producer and remixer Seamus Haji will join Neelix for this superstar DJ event, raising funds for those in need at ESP over the Human Rights Day holiday. They join forces with all the ESP resident DJs and special guest DJs (including local prog/psy/trance master Manifesto) across three dance floors - headlining 20 local DJs that lead the scene in progressive psy trance, house and the original classix, which define the ESP generation. R10 from each ticket sold will be donated to the Acorn Foundation to benefit needy South Africans. "The Acorn Foundation believes that every single human being has the ability to care for each other, regardless of age, gender, race, personal interests or how big or small that contribution might be. It is from this mindset that the Acorn Foundation involves itself within the electronic dance music community," explained Rudy Joles, CEO of the Acorn Foundation. Basic necessities within the lesser privileged communitiesJoles continued to state that "The Acorn Foundation believes that events such as Slippery N Wet assist in creating awareness around the shortfalls of basic necessities within the lesser privileged communities and can contribute towards empowering those communities. We are, therefore, extremely proud to be involved with such a high-calibre event and look forward to working alongside established industry brands such as ESP." Apart from R10 of each ticket sold being donated to the Acorn Foundation, there will also be a collection point at the event, provided by RTT, where people can donate non-perishable food, clothing and items for the Acorn Foundation to distribute to those in need.
