An opportunity exists for one or more strategic business or tourism consultants to assist the CEO with the development and implementation where appropriate of one or several key commercial and legacy programmes and concepts for CTT including but not limited to the following:
a. Commercial Business Development Strategy and Plan incorporating:
• Retail Strategy and Merchandising Model
b. Legacy Programmes incorporating:
• Cape Town Sons and Daughters Programme - a local tourism development initiative to inspire pride and participation from citizens of Cape Town
• Cape Town's Week/Month - a celebration that becomes the highlight of the local tourism calendar where the tourism industry can give back to citizens and citizens can celebrate their city
c. Patron Partnership Programme, which is aimed at the corporate sector
d. Post 2010 Marketing Plan
e. Cape Town 365 Strategy and Plan, aimed at using Events amongst other aspects as an enabler to address seasonality incorporating:
• Post 2010 Event Plan
• Domestic Tourism
• Winter Brand Campaign
Please note that a proposal can be submitted for only one or for more/all programmes and that Cape Town Tourism reserves the right to work with more than one strategist or consultant as it seems fit. It is important to highlight areas of speciality and expertise
