Debut album and tour from December Streets

December Streets will next week launch their debut album "This Is", followed by a national tour during August. The hits My Name, Fire Through The Window, and Got That Feeling are all on the album.

The band returned to the studio in April and May, 2012, working once again with Jacques du Plessis and David Grevler, re-recording all their hit songs and adding lots of brand new tracks.

"'This is' features the best of the old and the very best of the new. As the album title suggests, This is what we've got, This is our best - 'til the second album of course," Corneil Clasen, drummer of December Streets said.

Hit singles

Along with the hit singles fans already know, "This Is" boasts the brand new single So Fine (already receiving generous radio play on 5fm), the feel-good Coming Home, vibey Dance With Somebody, and party starter Breathing In.

Trying to define their style is almost impossible. "Like our bio says: 'Rock music met pop music and they had a baby. The baby of funk and reggae met that baby and their baby is what you could be listening to right now,'" said Nico van Loggerenberg, lead guitarist.

To celebrate the release of "This Is", the band will be touring throughout August, launching their album to fans nationwide on the following dates:
