Boss of the Year finalists announced

The six finalists competing for this year's Boss of the Year Award have been selected from a total of 283 nominations nationwide, after a lengthy, intensive judging process.

The six role models of excellent workplace leadership are:

  • David Botha, Executive Director, South African Institute of Civil Engineering
  • Henry Sambane, Production Director, Crabtree Electrical
  • Vanessa Bluen, Managing Director, The Consultant Powerhouse
  • Johan Viljoen, Mine Manager Mponeng Anglogold Ashanti
  • Piliswe Twala-Tau, Regional Director: Region3, City of Joburg
  • Ismail Dockrat, CEO, Wesgro

    The finalists will meet a panel of judges on Thursday 6 October and the Boss of the Year 2005 will be announced at a banquet lunch on 14 October at the Sandton Sun & Towers.
