One Show takes off at Eagles
An exhibition of work from the 2005 One Show, the advertising industry's New York-based awards competition, will make the first of its international stops in South Africa as part of the Independent Newspaper Group's presentation of this year's Eagle Print Awards.
One Club Marketing Director Kevin Swanepoel, who has led the One Show Interactive awards since its inception in 1997, will present the exhibition of winning print and television advertisements, as well as selections from One Show Interactive and One Show Design, in Cape Town and Johannesburg.
The exhibition opens at 8am on Monday 5 September at The Vineyard Hotel in Newlands, where Swanepoel and the two Eagle Print Awards judges Clive Pickering and Richard Bullock will share advertising trends and their reactions to the awarded entries.
On Tuesday 6 September the exhibition will move to The Johannesburg Country Club with another breakfast beginning at 8 a.m. Booking can be made at www.eagleawards.co.za.
