Nandos launches well-hung chickens The new Nando's commercial by Black River FC launches the outlet's espetada - or deboned thighs, hung on a skewer. The nature of the product led to the campaign's pay-off line 'Our chickens are well-hung'.
The campaign to raise awareness sees television and print advertising incorporating oversized in-store and outdoor posters. Ambient media, in the form of espetada 'flashers' will also give consumers a sneak preview of Nando's well-endowed chickens in-store and out. The first commercial is a spoof on adult movies and the second plays on the myth or superstition that the size of a man's feet is a good indication of just how well he is endowed Both commercials show off women's thighs, keeping consumers in close contact with the espetada, and will probably ruffle a few feathers. | |
