This Saturday 1 December, World AIDS Day, Fairy Godmother, 5fm's Kevin Fine, and Plascon, invite South Africans to get vocal about HIV AIDS and safe sex.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if a fairy godmother would appear, wave her magic wand and make all your wishes come true? It's not as impossible as it sounds. Donna McCallum, MD of Fairy Godmother Inc is that real live modern day fairy godmother we all need from time to time to help us realise our goals and dreams and get to the ball - and stay there long after pumpkin hour.
In an effort to spread the message to stop this epidemic, the public will join Fairy Godmother for the AIDS Day Graffiti Wall on Saturday, 1 December at 9am at The Star Graffiti Wall, corner Empire and Jan Smuts Avenue, Johannesburg. Participants will have a chance to spray their message for all to see.
Those who are not based in Johannesburg are encouraged to post a message on the Facebook Wall, email or sms 5fm. Kevin Fine will read these messages on air whilst crossing live to the Graffiti Wall. Fine will join Fairy Godmother at the wall after his show to continue spreading the message.
Donna McCallum the Fantastically Fabulous and Magical Fairy Godmother says, "In a country where news is more often than not dominated by negativity, it is enlightening to know that there are people out there that believe in the inevitable good. In the last few months we have initiated a number of Fairy Godmother Antics around South Africa for no other reason than to increase the general vibration of our beautiful country and add a little magic."
Donna, a successful entrepreneur and communicator, weaves her enchantments through inspiration and empowerment, acting as a catalyst and guiding us to recognise the ability within ourselves to live our dreams to the fullest.
