Ten arrested at MTN after fraud

MTN has had ten of its staff members arrested after a report of fraud totalling at least R200-million according to The Sowetan.

It says the staff members were arrested on Thursday morning, 22 September 2011, and Metro Police spokesman Wayne Minnaar said that the eight men and two women were detained when they reported for work at MTN's sprawling head office complex in Fairland.

Police apparently received a tip-off about the allegedly fraudulent activities of the ten people.
