MTN helps Kitty and Puppy HavenThe project encourages MTN staff to become involved in charity projects, and awards a cash prize to the charity cause that attracts the most staff. Kitty and Puppy Haven, a no-kill rescue and rehabilitation shelter in Bramley, is delighted to be included in MTN's “21 days of Y'ello Care”, which runs from 1–21 August 2007. MTN staff members will be visiting Kitty and Puppy Haven on the 14th August to help with daily tasks, and will also be involved with a large project to repaint the whole Haven – blue for the dogs, and pink for the cats! “We're very excited about the project,” said Samantha Berger, founder of Kitty and Puppy Haven. “Not only will it have immediate benefits, but we're sure that some of the volunteers will get involved with ongoing volunteering and donations when they see the work that we do. It's a fantastic initiative by MTN.” For more information go to www.kittyhaven.co.za, or phone Samantha on 011 440 2404. |
