Velly Sekokotla, Trudy Mackay Sekokotla and Lucky Mackay are the new owners of Cappello Greenside, which reopened under their management in June 2011. The 100% black-owned store promises fine dining with a personal touch of life style food and good company.
"We have allowed the glamour and class of classical mingling and socializing to be our inspiration. We envisage a subtle casual and delicious atmosphere," said Mackay.
The new owners have introduced Thursday nights as ladies' night, dubbed GAP - Girls Appreciation Night, offering cocktails, tailored entertainment ranging from live soulful performances, poetry, comedy and a meal.
From a fusion of art and fashion to surprise celebrity acts, wine and whiskey tastings and mingling with the country's biggest names, the new look restaurant comes with a new feel and experience. The restaurant is part of the 30 national branches of Cappello, which has been trading since 2001.
