New Jungle Oats ad outTBWA\Hunt\Lascaris goes live today 1 July 2011, with a new Jungle Oats ad that follows a long tradition of the brand's commercials epitomising goodness, energy and achievement. It moves away from the previous soccer theme to refocus on the South African home. ![]() The commercial, aimed at the key winter consumption period, features a series of commercials using children to demonstrate achievement. The well loved "boxer" and "swimmer" ads, which flighted around 2007/08, developed significant brand interest and this latest commercial aims to provide a modern take on a timeless theme 'Children aspiring to reach the stars - and the importance of breakfast!' Damon Stapleton, TBWA\Hunt\Lascaris ECD, says, "The brand is a South African icon and has produced some great campaigns over the years. I mean who will ever forget Flipper Fourie? "We have partnered with the company for a number of years and being able to continue to work with the brand and to produce a new campaign, which will hopefully also become part of South African popular culture, is very exciting."
