Run in aid of AIDS

Britespark Communications is a public relations, communications and event management agency based in Midrand, Johannesburg. As part of its CSI projects, Britespark Communications elected to raise funds on behalf of our CSI project the Arebaokeng Hospice a palliative AIDS care centre/hospice based in Tembisa.

Aptly named "Run in aid of AIDS" this event will see corporate companies come together in a 12km corporate marathon event to raise the much-needed funds that will go towards purchasing better mattresses and beds for the ailing AIDS patients based at the hospice and some of the funds raised will go towards building a crèche for AIDS orphans many of whom are also based at the current dilapidated Arebaokeng premises.

For the event, corporate companies throughout South Africa are invited to take part in the marathon. Companies may enter a limited number of employees to take part in the challenge, corporates are also encouraged to enter as many employees as possible to further raise funds for the Arebaokeng.
