British Academy Film Awards (BAFTAs) in South Africa BBC Prime, broadcast to over 20 million subscribers across Europe, Asia and Africa, is to bring the glitz and glamour of the BAFTAs to South Africa next month, offering viewers a close-up of the British film industry's celebrity set as they vie for the top awards. The awards will be broadcast in South Africa at 20h00 on Wednesday, 16th February.
BBC Prime viewers will also be able to cheer on home-grown film talent with international films competing such China's House of Flying Daggers (Shi Mian Mai Fu), Spanish film Bad Education (La Mala Educación) and French nominations The Chorus (Les Choristes) and A Very Long Engagement (Un Long Dimanche de fiancailles) amongst the entries.
