Pain conference aims to be best everThe 4th Pan African Pain Congress, to be held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre, 11-13 March 2011, is a collaboration between the African Association for the study of Pain (AASP), NeuPSIG, the London Pain Consortium, and PainSA - and aims to be the best ever. ![]() The aim of the congress is to highlight the current state of the art knowledge in all fields of pain and to translate these ideas into everyday pain practice. Special emphasis will be placed on the practical aspects of pain management. Delegates will also be brought up to date on the latest research being undertaken in all fields of pain management. Typical topics include peripheral neuropathic pain, post herpetic neuralgia, AIDS pain, lower back pain and failed back syndrome, end of life care, fibromyalgia and rheumatic pain.
