Counterfeit goods with a street value of R120 million were seized at the Durban harbour on Friday morning, 7 January 2011, the Hawks said.
"We are at the harbour now. We raided five containers that have counterfeit goods to the value of R120 million," said spokesman McIntosh Polela at 10.17am.
No arrests had been made.
The goods from China were destined for Johannesburg.
"The goods ranged from counterfeit Nike wear to Georgia Armani," said Polela.
