The launch of the new Mzansi banking account for the impoverished, last week, used ordinary people in its campaign launched by Inroads Advertising. The campaign's pay-off-line, 'everyone can now afford banking' celebrates the target audience - the unbanked," said Inroads ATL Creative Director Mangaliso Dhlamini this week.
Officially launched via roadshows in various townships around the country, the campaign is a culmination of months of 'ground work' involving the eight participating banks; Absa, Eastern Cape's Meeg Bank, First National Bank, Nedbank, Old Mutual Bank, People's Bank, Standard Bank and Postbank, and Inroads advertising.
"Despite the challenges of having to report to a committee of 15 representatives from the eight participating banks, the campaign will unveil in a 360 degrees solution including outdoor media, public relations, events, press, outreach and above-the-line," comments Pearl Mokgatle, Head of the Business Management Department.
