JHP Gourmet Guide launch

This year's JHP Gourmet Guide recently took place at The Stack in Cape Town on 23 October 2017. The guide has changed in style, density and its overall travel-friendliness. The new guide now incorporates three-plate awards and only restaurants and its chefs who were plated in the last guide were considered for three plates in the 2018 guide.

The three plates are as follows: one plate - is awarded for excellent cuisine, two plates - is awarded for exceptional dining that demands a detour and three plates - is awarded for world-class destination dining worthy of a flight.
