Nu Metro Cinemas will be adding 11 more RealD 3-D screens to its circuit, which will be operational by the end of May, the chain has announced.
Mark Harris, content executive for Nu Metro Cinemas, said: “We are Africa's leading 3-D cinema chain, currently with 14 dedicated screens around the country and boasting the world's largest RealD 3-D screen at Nu Metro Montecasino in Johannesburg - a massive 77-foot screen. We are in the process of installing an additional 11 3-D screens over the next month and these screens will become operational by the end of May.” adds Harris.
Nu Metro Cinemas is also proud to announce 3-D screens in Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein and Nelspruit. Toy Story 3 and Shrek Forever After will be entertaining audiences in these regions on the 3-D screens in June and July, respectively. Other new 3-D sites now include Clearwater Mall in the West of Johannesburg and the V&A Waterfront in Cape Town.
