The opportunity
Lead the transformation of m2m's marketing and communications function, and position the m2m brand as a leading voice in community health, women's empowerment, and client impact across Africa.
Key responsibilities- Lead and structure the marketing and communications function to align with organisational strategy.
- Strengthen and grow the m2m brand across all platforms and stakeholder audiences.
- Partner with fundraising teams to promote and differentiate the m2m brand, support donor engagement, and generate income growth.
- Lead in the development of compelling organisational narratives, marketing campaigns, and thought leadership.
- Provide strategic communications and marketing counsel to executive leadership.
- Re-envision m2m’s digital presence, including our website, social media content, and campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing communications team.
About you:
Strategic, visionary, and results-driven communicator with significant experience in brand building, stakeholder engagement, reputation management, and leadership.
Qualification and experience- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, PR, journalism, business or related field.
- Relevant postgraduate qualification advantageous.
- 10+ years leadership experience in marketing, communications, external affairs, or related disciplines.
- Experience in NGO, development, health care, or purpose-driven sectors advantageous.
