DTP Operator

A well-established company within the printing industry is seeking an experienced DTP Operator to join their fast-paced production environment based in Sandton.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, formatting, correcting, and setting up artwork for print production across Litho and Digital print processes. This role requires a highly detail-oriented individual with strong technical knowledge and the ability to work accurately under pressure.

Key Responsibilities:
• Format and layout artwork according to brand guidelines
• Prepare files for print production and ensure all artwork is repro-ready
• Create and edit graphics, layouts, and visual elements
• Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Proofread artwork and correct formatting issues
• Collaborate with design and marketing teams
• Manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Ensure files are correctly set up for Litho and Digital print processes

Requirements:
• Proven experience as a DTP Operator within the printing industry
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop & Illustrator)
• Strong understanding of RGB, CMYK & Pantone colour systems
• Experience in Litho & Digital Printing essential
• Highly skilled in PitStop
• Strong repro and prepress knowledge
• Excellent layout and artwork correction skills
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Advantageous:
• Relevant qualification in Graphic Design or related field
• Adobe CC layout experience
