Job description
We are looking for a proactive, strategic and relationship-driven
PR Account Manager to lead client accounts, drive media relations and deliver high-impact communication campaigns. The ideal candidate is a strong storyteller, a confident communicator, and someone who thrives in a collaborative environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesClient and Account Management- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing strategic counsel and day-to-day communication support.
- Develop, manage and execute PR plans aligned with client objectives.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.
- Lead client meetings, prepare status updates and oversee reporting on campaign performance.
Media Relations and Outreach- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, editors, influencers and industry stakeholders.
- Proactively pitch stories, coordinate interviews and secure media coverage across print, digital and broadcast outlets.
- Monitor media trends and identify opportunities for clients to gain visibility.
Content Development- Edit press materials including press releases, pitches, briefing documents, Q&As, fact sheets and thought-leadership content.
- Ensure all content aligns with client messaging, brand voice and communication strategy.
Campaign and Project Execution- Oversee the execution of PR campaigns, events, product launches and media briefings.
- Manage timelines and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes.
Monitoring and Reporting- Track media coverage, analyse results and produce clear reports.
- Provide insights and recommendations for ongoing optimisation of PR activity.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or related field.
- 3–5 years of PR or communications experience, ideally within an agency environment.
- Strong media relationships and proven track record securing coverage.
- Excellent writing, editing and storytelling skills.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and deadlines with strong attention to detail.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate client goals into PR opportunities.
- Confident presenter and communicator, both written and verbal.
- Experience managing junior team members.
