Everyday Education Exhibit Opening"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world" We believe education is important: it can maintain the status quo or challenge, liberate and transform. Who are the people across Southern Africa wielding this powerful weapon? Three photographers traveled over 4,000 kilometers to celebrate and share stories of Southern African schooling. Journey with us to meet the leaders and learners of Southern African education. Through the accounts of @stickylittleleaves (Rebecca Crook, Joburg/Nairobi), @diaryofzach (Zach Louw, Cape Town), @sam.vox (Sam Vox. Photographer, Dar Es Salaam), Everyday Education explores the stories of teachers, parents, leaders and students throughout in Sub-Saharan Africa. Visitors have the opportunity to view images, speak to the photographers, interact with a mock classroom and reflect on their own educational experiences and the people who made them possible.
