SAB World of Beer celebrates 21st birthday – R10 Beer Tour
It has been 21 years since former president Nelson Mandela officially opened the doors to the SAB World of Beer. The ensuing years have seen the history and culture of beer celebrated with fun, interactive and educational tours; seen taste buds put to the test with beer tastings; and, more recently, provided beer-and-food pairings.
To mark their birthday on Sunday 15 May, SAB World of Beer will reduce the price of its beer tour tickets to the original entry fee of R10 - the same price they were 21 years ago.
The SAB World of Beer was originally established to celebrate SAB's centenary in 1995 by showcasing the company and the history of beer in South Africa.
