Pathways to sustainability workshops

In order to support non-profit managers to create impactful, sustainable enterprises, the Bertha Centre, together with the Social Enterprise Academy and the International Labour Organization, will be launching a series of Pathways to Sustainability workshops for non-profits in Cape Town, Durban and Bloemfontein.

The workshops kick off in April 2016 and will provide practical guidance on the journey from donor-dependency to income-generating activity for each participant. The workshop programme consists of five two-day workshops over four months. The workshops include two individual coaching sessions per delegate.

To apply for the programme, please send a CV of the individual who would attend and a cover letter (max two pages) detailing the following:

• An overview of your organisation and what it does
• Why you want to attend this workshop
• Ideas your organisation has started exploring on financial sustainability
• How people in your organisation feel about financial sustainability

If you are also applying for the scholarship, please include a one page motivational letter on why your organisation is eligible.

The workshops run until September and will end at our annual Pathways to Funding 'Do-ference' in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

The workshops cost R6,000 per delegate and scholarships are available.

Applications and queries should be sent to az.ca.tcu.bsg@ecnanifevitavonni by 11 April 2016.

Date: 25 April 2016 to 06 September 2016
