Disciplinary enquiries at the workplace

This two-day course is aimed at providing all participants such as initiators, representatives and chairpersons in a disciplinary enquiry, with valuable practical training on their respective roles and the functions during a disciplinary process.

What the course covers:

• Legislative background (LRA, BCEA)
• Receiving the complaint and the investigation
• Drafting of charges and giving notice of the enquiry
• Preparation for the enquiry
• The hearing
• Law (rules) of evidence (This includes hearsay, documentary and video evidence)
• Cross-examination

Admission requirements:
Candidates need to be in possession of a Matric and have appropriate work experience.

Who should enrol?
Human resources managers, prosecutors, employer representatives, employee representatives, trade union officials, labour relations practitioners and legal representatives.
