Green PencilAs history has proven, the power of advertising can do more than just create awareness for a brand. It can inspire. It can influence. It can even change the fortunes of a brand on a global scale. Just imagine what it could do for our planet. To that end, The One Club is asking for more than your eco-friendly One Show entries. It is asking all creative and strategic thinkers in the industry to approach environmental organizations that could benefit from the power of advertising. Not only could your efforts benefit the planet, they may well end up landing you the next Green Pencil. Deadline is 12 February 2010. For a list of One Show's supported environmental causes, see www.enteroneshow.org/greenpencil. One Show InteractiveToo often, award shows miss excellent work simply because it was done early in the year and forgotten by the time the deadlines approach. This was the inspiration for moving One Show Interactive to a new quarterly entry system: a first in the industry. Entries do not have to have been "aired" or gone live during the quarter they are entered. Each year the eligibility period spans all four quarters. To be eligible for the 2010 One Show Interactive awards, work must have aired between 1 January 2009 and 31 March 2010. The final deadline for the 2010 Interactive Awards is 31 March 2010. Eligibility for 2011 will be from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2011 and the deadlines for this are 30 June 2010, 30 September 2010, 31 December 2010 and 31 March 2011. |
