Operation Hunger 35th Year Anniversary Charity DinnerJoin us in celebrating the difference we have made in South Africa in 35 years and learn how you can be part of our 2016 projects to move our communities forward. About Operation Hunger Operation Hunger's projects range from water harvesting; small garden plots; vegetable, chicken and egg laying production; soup kitchens and basic training in health and life management skills, with a view to initiating self-sustaining, income-generating community-based activities that combat malnutrition, foster healthy living and independence and engender feelings of self-worth and dignity. Key note speaker and honorary president In 1981 King became chairman of Operation Hunger, whose mission was to feed as many children in rural areas as possible. He retained the position for eight years, after which he became honorary life president of the organisation. The main supporters, namely Goldrush, Hippo Roller and SPAR invite you to be the change the world needs and join us on this evening. Guests may purchase tickets for R1,000 per individual seat or R8,500 for a table of 10. Costs include dinner, refreshments and a charity auction. A percentage of these contributions will go towards covering the cost of the celebration and the rest to our community projects that intend to be bigger and better than ever before.
