Gospel In Me Concert – 2016 Re-launch
After a successful three series of concerts and live broadcast of the concerts on SABC channels in 2012 and 2013, Native Rhythms Productions together with its partners Aptitude Consulting are happy to announce the re-launch of Gospel in Me Concert in 2016.
What happens when leading Afro-Soul/Jazz and pop artists enter a world where only angels dare to dance to the pulsating sacred sounds of Gospel? It is exhilarating and breathtaking. The Gospel in Me Concert, a concept and initiative by Native Rhythms Productions, aims to unleash the sacred side of South Africa's leading Afro-Jazz/Soul and pop singers who, despite their church background, chose not to pursue Gospel as a music career and genre.
Offering a wide scope of artists from the best acts in the South African industry, The Gospel In Me - 2016 Relaunch concert will include The Soil; actress Zikhona Sodlaka; Beyond Vocal; Tribute "Birdie" Mboweni; newcomer Jobie Clarke; and will be hosted by Gospel comedian, Kedibone Mulaudzi. By presenting these artists singing Gospel music, the concert provides an interesting twist and fresh perspective to a music genre that has been the reservation of only Gospel artists.
