Ladies - leap to it this Valentine's Day with a beer
According to Irish folklore, in a leap year it is acceptable for a woman to get down on one knee and propose marriage to their boyfriends.
The SAB World of Beer is not saying you have to propose, but at the very least is encouraging women to treat their men to a more manly Valentine's Day.
In honour of Valentine's Day, the popular beer tour venue will be hosting a five-course food and beer pairing lunch, which couples can enjoy together or as a group.

• Includes: Welcome drink, five-course meal paired with seven beers, and brew master running the experience.

• Smoked salmon rosettes on a toasted bruschetta with cream cheese and deep-fried capers
• Strawberry sorbet
• Fillet of springbok carved on creamy mashed potato with a pink peppercorn sauce, vegetables and crispy pancetta
• Deep-fried, crumbed Camembert cheese wedge with red-onion marmalade served with mini baguettes
• Decadent chocolate brownie with espresso Anglaise, berry coulis, vanilla ice cream and a phyllo fan

• R1,500 per couple, but is available on Groupon for R1,200 (limited seating)
• There is also the option to take the beer tour beforehand, also with a special deal available on Groupon.
