The Ikasi Experience

Established in 2012, the Ikasi Experience aims to empower South African communities by creating a platform for local businesses to grow and engage with potential consumers. It also aims to encourage an inter-cultural environment, conversely extending urban boundaries and interactively enhancing township perception on economic activity.

Visitors can look forward to live entertainment and performances, with arts and culture vendor displays on the day.

Expect a fun-filled day, boasting local vendors from the township selling their goods and services varying from food and beverage to artwork, and lots more. With the likes of DJ Loyd, SirVincent, Benny Maverick, DJ Feel and Junior DeRocka amongst a host of local talent. Exciting acts including a live talent search will bring a great cultural experience which is set to be a great day out for the family.

The benefits for people attending will include, amongst other things, empowerment of youth entrepreneurs with useful business tips, growing and building longstanding relationships between local entrepreneurs and consumers as well as an opportunity to mingle with their favourite celebrities while enjoying a unique vibe altogether.
