It is October and that means the 'do-er' dads of Camps Bay Primary are at it again - in doing all the planning and staging the annual fundraising Rocktober Reloaded event happen for the fifth year in a row. Yes you've heard right, no moms are involved at all, other than to show up the night of the event.
This epic music fest will take place at the upmarket Cape Town Club on Saturday 24 October with three live acts and three DJs. The live acts are the Rockerfellas, Louise Day and Sterling EQ. The DJs that will keep you moving on the night are DJ Prophet777, Dino Moran and DJ Sox. Of course all of this is for a good cause: fundraising and to support previously disadvantaged children supported by the school.
This year, it was decided to make the VIP experience accessible to everybody with sushi by Ocean Basket and canapés by the Cape Town Club served between 7pm and 9 pm.
And just when you thought it could not get any better, you will once again be able to buy some of the most collectable memorabilia at the auction and treat yourself to one of those amazing get-away experiences you only get to buy at auctions.
This year the Cape Town Club have thrown in some memberships to the value of R47,000 for the lucky raffle draw as well. Ask anyone who has attended this party before and they will tell you that many people have left with much more than they came for and, most of all, have had a whole heap of fun.
Go to www.rocktober.co.za, follow the instructions to www.webticket.co.za, type in Rocktober and book now as the tickets are limited.
